History

Bellaplant AG is a second-generation family business that has positioned itself as a leading player in the area of plant logistics. As a future-orientated and dedicated company, we continue on our path by driving innovation while maintaining our family values and commitment to sustainability.

Foundation and establishment

Bellaplant AG was founded in 1992 and began its activities with a clear focus on plant logistics and distribution. During the first few years, we focused intensively on building a robust infrastructure to enable us to offer efficient and reliable logistics solutions. At the same time, we attached great importance to developing and strengthening important partnerships within the sector. To this day, this forms the foundation of our corporate strategy, which is geared towards long-term growth and sustainable success.

Expansion and new company buildings

In 2004, the new company building at Bännli 17 in Wolfwil was completed, representing a significant milestone in increasing our operating capacity. And this location was then expanded just two years later. This measure was crucial in order to meet the continuous growth of and increasing demands on our company. The expansion enabled us to significantly increase our production and storage capacities so as to be able to respond efficiently and flexibly to our customers’ needs.

International expansion and new locations

In 2007, we founded Bellaplant Nederland BV, which was an important step in consolidating our expertise in the international market. This subsidiary is strategically positioned in important marketplaces such as FloraHolland in the Netherlands and Veiling Rhein Maas in Germany. This enabled us to strengthen our presence internationally. The establishment of Bellaplant Nederland BV also laid the foundation for the opening of our secondary location Bännli 21 in Wolfwil in 2012. This enabled us to further improve our logistic processes and make them even more efficient, helping to improve customer satisfaction and sustainable business development.

Transition to the 2nd generation

The management of Bellaplant was successfully handed over to the second generation of the Stadelmann family in 2021. This significant change in management not only marks a new era in the company's history, but also underlines the Stadelmann family's ongoing commitment to Bellaplant AG. Handing over to the next generation ensures the continuity of the company, while also laying the foundation for long-term growth and sustainable development. In this way, the Stadelmann family is showing its passion to continue to run Bellaplant as an innovative and responsible company in the future.

Current developments and future prospects

We are in the fortunate and positive situation of experiencing considerable market interest. With a constantly growing number of new customers, suppliers and articles, we have the opportunity to continuously expand and develop our business further. In recent years, we have significantly optimized our operating capacities through extensive expansion measures at our Bännli 17 and Bännli 21 sites in Wolfwil. These measures included the construction of new ramps, the expansion of loading and storage areas, and the creation of covered outdoor areas. Our company remains true to its tradition and attaches great importance to sustainable practices. This is reflected in, among other things, the use of renewable energy through the deployment of solar systems, as well as in the promotion of environmentally friendly transport and packaging solutions. Thanks to these strategic developments and our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are well equipped to meet the demands of the market and successfully continue our growth path.
